Unbiased and Informed Advice on Burglar Alarms
Our surveyors are all experienced technicians/engineers who are actively involved installing and servicing alarm and security systems so you are assured that no sales reps will call and the surveyors actually know what they are talking about.
When our surveyor arrives for the appointment, providing you with identification you can verify, he/she will carry out an accompanied assessment of your premises discussing your individual needs and selecting the most appropriate equipment for the task presented based on the risk factor for the property and your own or insurers specific requirements.
On completion of the survey, a comprehensive specification will be produced and forwarded for your consideration. This specification is not a short note scribbled on the back of a cigarette packet but a highly in-depth report and proposal covering as far as reasonably practicable, all elements of your alarm, CCTV or security system installation which provides the base for your installation and ongoing support. As such, it can take a few days to prepare, compile and to ensure it is forwarded to you in a correct and acceptable format. We will always return the proposal as quickly as possible but ask that you bear with us during this process.

Cost to install Burglar Alarms
We believe our customers are not necessarily looking for a “cheap” option, but do expect a quality alarm system at a competitive, reasonable and acceptable cost with superior after sales support. That we are trading after 35 years I hope bears testament that our pricing structure is acceptable to a diverse customer base, many of whom return when relocation home. You may also be surprised how little a high quality security system can be.
An extremely important aspect to remember is that with a Care Guard Security Ltd system, you own the system; it is not rented or tied in with a monthly “monitoring” contract.
Ongoing service costs are, like the installation itself, priced to provide a service without compromise at an affordable annual price. With the vast majority of systems requested by customers being hybrid or wireless, it is important to factor in costs for batteries. Our policy on battery replacement will be discussed with you by the surveyor at the time of the survey and again when the engineers commission the system. Battery costs are not included in the service contract price as they will not usually be required to be changed every year, therefore we believe customer should only be charged when a battery change is done at the recommended period.
